Nathan Winch becomes finalist at the FSB Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards in London for his appearance in the media surrounding WinchPharma and their achievements as a business.
After an extended year of networking and presentations, WinchPharma wins multiple contracts, both direct and via NHS Supply Chain, with more hospitals in the north east and south east of England.

In early 2014, Nathan Winch decided to raise investment to help service the newly awarded NHS contract framework as orders for the company’s products began to come in from the supply chain network. After raising £100,000 in June 2014, he then launched the business, selling to the NHS.
After focusing in on cleaning and hygiene products guided by the newly appointed board of directors, Nathan decided to team up with an antimicrobial technology company called Byotrol plc. In late 2010, Nathan Winch founded WinchPharma, a medical products company whilst reading for his degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology at the University of Huddersfield, during his sandwich year. After spotting a gap in the market, he founded his business in August 2011.
